Dangerous Goods Services Ltd was founded by Colin Pratt in 2020. Now in our 4th year of consistent growth and exemplary customer service, we continue to offer specialist regulatory and strategic compliance advice to companies who manufacture, import, export, formulate, transport or trade in chemicals.
Dangerous Goods Services Ltd. provide vocationally qualified, highly experienced, Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSAs) to ensure the safe transit of your dangerous goods as per the statutory requirements laid down in ADR Article 1.8.3; or an "ad-hoc" consultancy service for businesses whose operations fall outside the scope requiring a safety adviser. Thus, allowing clients to fully discharge their legal responsibility under this article of ADR.
We also offer advice on transport labelling, and packagings, along with compliance advice on sea freight dangerous goods under the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG 41-22) Code.
Dangerous Goods Services Ltd. also provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring service, using proprietary software to classify your substance, or mixture, to applicable British legislation (GB CLP).
Input data is extensively verified against the Mandatory Classification List (MCL), the ECHA Harmonised Classification (HC) or the EU Classification and Labelling Inventory (CLI) as appropriate.
We can also assist during research and development to ensure that the classification of your chemistry is minimised in the first instance.
Dangerous Goods Services Ltd. also provides strategic compliance assistance with regard to trading chemicals across the Great Britain boarder and into Europe.
Following EU-exit there are a number of instances of divergence, including many within REACH and CLP, which can be identified, and mitigated, to ensure compliance with incumbent legislation and minimisation of additional costs.
